A Song. A Psalm by David.
My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples.
For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.
That your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my scepter.
Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.”
Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go out, God, with our armies.
Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.
Through God, we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our enemies.

My heart is settled
God
I'm ready now
to sing
to play for You
with all I am
Harp, get up
Lyre, get up
I'll wake the sunrise
I'll wake the sunrise
Out where the peoples gather
I will praise You, LORD
to nations near and far
I will play Your song
Your loyal love climbs
past the highest sky
Your truth runs up
into the clouds
Climb above the heavens, God
Climb above the heavens, God
Climb above the heavens, God
Let Your brightness fill the land
So the ones You treasure
can break free
Reach out Your right hand
Rescue me
Answer me
God has spoken
from His holy place
I will exult
I will divide Shechem
I will measure out
the valley of Succoth
Gilead is Mine
Manasseh is Mine
Ephraim is the helmet
on My head
Judah is My scepter
Moab is My washbasin
On Edom I toss My sandal
Over Philistia
I shout in triumph
Who will bring me
to the fortified city
Who will lead me
into Edom
Have You not
pushed us away, God
You don't ride out
with our troops
Send us help
against the enemy
Any help from man
is empty air
In God
we will rise up strong
He'll tread our foes to dust
In God
we will rise up strong
He'll tread our foes to dust
In God
we will rise up strong
He'll tread our foes to dust
Climb above the heavens, God
